Clear provides a range of services spanning contractor and compliance management. This includes financial oversight, supporting clients on their journey towards compliance, and always operating with the client’s best interests at heart.
Compliance management includes:
We source the appropriate contractors to deliver compliance-related services, overseeing works to make sure they are carried out in line with the relevant compliance standards / best industry practice - and at a sensible cost. In addition, Clear can monitor any recommendations that are identified via inspections, assessments or maintenance programmes and activate any required follow-up actions. Finally, Clear will evaluate performance by applying technical assessments and evidential oversight.
- Gas safety team providing oversight of all gas safety responsibilities
- Electrical safety team providing oversight of the EICR programme
- Overseeing fire, Legionella, lifts, electric car charge points, and automated gate safety compliance across larger estates
- Project management includes electrical system refurbishments, fire alarm installations, building recladding, automated gate upgrades etc
Financial oversight
Clear can act on behalf of the client to monitor contractors whose services are retained, to ascertain that:
- Prior to engagement, contractors are evaluated on competence, financial stability, ethical practices, trading history and previous results
- Cost control measures are in place – delivery of clear specifications, benchmarking, adherence to contract, analysis of KPIs
- Expenditure is scrutinised via cost audits, validation of payments, contractual enforcement
We act independently and impartially, as the gatekeeper to a client’s funds. We always work with the client’s best interests at heart, regularly making substantial savings to benefit the overall budget.
Contractor management
We are able to provide clients with a contractor management service, delivering oversight of quality and compliance levels, as well as value for money.
We have in-house experts in all fields of technical compliance who know what should and should not be done, and at what cost.
Effectively, we are able to sit between our clients and their compliance contractors, validating and approving, querying or rejecting works and their associated fees. The aim is to ensure compliance at a reasonable and sensible cost.
